Description of volunteer position
Need for a second psychologist to respond to the needs of counseling children and families served by the project. Recruitment of a volunteer in parallel with the formulation of a grant request for an additional job post for a psychologist

Psychological counseling of children and families served by the association (at home, at the foundation headquarters, or in shelters) who are in high-risk situations. Multi-disciplinary team-based work

Strengthen the possibilities of psychological counseling for the community served by the foundation and improve the quality of the counseling

Obtaining an outside perspective on the foundation's practices. Possibility to exchange best practices, innovation, and top-quality counseling for the community served

Longer than six months

Monday through Friday
8:30am-1:00pm/3:00pm-6:30pm
Candidate profile
-Former experiences :
Counseling of at-risk children and families in diverse and changing work conditions. Long-term experience abroad
-Diplomas :
Master in psychology
-Level of Spanish:
Intermediate
-Required competences and qualities:
Significant capacity for adaptation, high level of autonomy, dynamism, initiative-taking, flexibility

Depending on the duration, housing may be shared with the youth hosted by Cristo de la Calle within one of the family homes. If that is not possible, the volunteer will then be responsible for his/her own housing.
