Developing community-based ecotourism projects in Bolivia

This project will combine visits to communities near the city of Cochabamba where the volunteers will be raising awareness on issues like heritage, waste recycling, environment and community work with local people. The group will visit various projects and rural communities within the Plan for Alternative Tourism Network and organize alternative travel packages involving local people. It will support the promotion of the Summer Solstice Festival to be held in Inkallajta and Inka Raqhay, Sipe Sipe in the region of Cochabamba.
