"I cannot speak glowingly enough of my experience with YCA in Bangalore. Although I struggled in India at first, the place grew on me and by the end of my nine weeks I did not want to leave. It was a great experience working in an Indian NGO and getting to know the locals. The project really opened my eyes to the various complex problems that urban India is facing" - Ellen Sowersby, India

Volunteer testimonial -
"I really enjoyed the tutoring program. The most enjoyable aspect of the program was the chance to form relationships with people I would otherwise not meet. From this, there were many learning opportunities – about myself, individuals, Aboriginal culture, the interaction between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal culture in a town that was set up for mining." Anna Burke, Jabiru Area School Volunteer
