LUKUNDO SELF HELP GROUP is looking for motivated volunteers to volunteer in rural school in Kenya in Taita Taveta district.
Taita Taveta County has continued to perfom dismal in national exams and lack of teachers is one great contributing factor.
Volunteers to help teach English, Maths, and sciences are great encouraged to apply.
The volunteers will work as assistant teacher and will be given orientation to the Kenyan sylabuss by their collegues .
The volunteers will also be taught the native language and swahili by the students whom they will be teaching.
The volunteers will be accomodated in homestays which are within walking distances to school.
The volunteers will also have an opportunity to travel around the country and other places near the rural areas which include the biggest parks Tsavo East and West
The volunteers will be immersed in the local culture and will have an opportunity to interact with all community members in organised forums and also family visits
