Fundraising Manager: Hoi An, Vietnam
Status: One year fixed term contract Start Date: Flexible but an immediate start is preferred.
Key Objectives
Initiating and soliciting major gifts from individuals and organizations. Developing and inspire new relationships and to cultivate current relationships
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new and imaginative fundraising activities, can be events-based
- Develop and implement a strategy for individual and corporate supporter recruitment and development
- Organise traditional fundraising activities
- Work with media outlets to promote, market and advertise forthcoming events and current project work
- Raising awareness of the charity at both local, national and international level
- Build and maintain long-term fundraising relationships, motivating and facilitating supporters to maximise the funds they raise
- Developing and coordinating web-based fundraising, online auctions and merchandise sales
Required Capabilities
- A proven track record in fundraising for charities
- Experience in writing funding and grant proposals
- High level communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Professional written and spoken English
Required Key-Skills and Practical Requirements
- Ability to work independently on own initiative
- Desire to help others to help themselves
- Diplomatic in difficult situations and able to work well under pressure
- Hardworking and committed
- Proficient IT skills (including MS Word, MS Excel)
