Join Edge of Seven for an exciting trip to Africa this summer, where we will be creating more access to education for girls by constructing additional educational structures at the Miririni Secondary School campus in Tanzania's Mt. Meru region. The project aims to triple the size of the school's campus, opening the door for many more children to go to school.
Your Impact:You'll help to bring much-needed school access to Tanzanian girls by providing support through myriad construction activities, from plastering to laying bricks to painting, all while experiencing local culture and making new friends. Come with an open mind and be ready for anything!**
Location: Miririni, Tanzania – Mt. Meru Region
Dates: June 15-21, 2013
Program Fee Includes: Lodging (tents), food, in-country transportation, trip leader, and 24/7 local support. Note: International airfare not included. Volunteers are required to make their own travel plans.
Logistics: Volunteers will reach Miririni by jeep, sleep in tent accommodations and eat local cuisine while at the project site.
