Do you have a background in marketing and communication? Passionate about spreading awareness of pancreatic cancer? We could use your help for PurpleStride San Diego 2013! We are currently recruiting members for our marketing and branding committee that would be responsible for:
- Working with the Events Manager / Specialist to develop and implement the marketing plan.
- Working with the Recruitment & Teams Committee to manage team and individual recruitment, with an emphasis on converting individuals into teams.
- Promoting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network brand throughout the event while adhering to all branding guidelines.
- Coordinating all printing (forms, signs, banners, T-shirts, etc.) using artwork provided by Headquarters.
- Obtaining and submitting contracts and invoices for all marketing and branding related vendors to the Event Chair.
PurpleStride San Diego 2013 is an annual 5K Run/ 1 Mile walk event hosted by the local affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. PurpleStride events nationwide contribute millions of dollars toward the mission of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to advance research, support patients and create hope. Funds raised help provide personalized support for patients and support research grants and advocacy efforts to increase federal pancreatic cancer research funding.
