Descripción de la oportunidad de voluntariado

Mentoring USA (MUSA) is a non-profit organization that aims to forge powerful, transformative connections for young people through the advocacy and involvement of mentors. Using a one-to-one site-based model, our trained mentors inspire by example and model positive life choices. All of our programs take place at the facility where our partnerships exist, under the supervision of a Site Supervisor. We form partnerships with foster care agencies, public housing facilities, public schools and community centers and recruit our Mentees from these sources.

Mentoring USA has been selected to be the exclusive non-profit partner for a new wraparound mentoring program to launch in partnership with Mayor Bloomberg's Interagency Task Force on Truancy, Chronic Absenteeism and School Engagement for teen boys in Queens.
