About the Eastern Tibet Training Program (ETTI)
Located in Shangri-La, Yunnan, the Eastern Tibet Training Institute (ETTI) is helping under-privileged rural Tibetan and other ethnic minority youth develop the skills they need to survive in a changing world. ETTI offers training programs in tourism and hospitality, green & environmental technology, computing, accounting, small business management and agricultural technologies. Since its founding in 2004, ETTI has helped more than 1,000 people find employment and start new businesses.

ETTI is looking for long-term (preferably 6 months and longer) volunteers in the area of:
- Grant research, writing and editing
- Media and outreach
- Graphic design
- Website design
- Communications
- Development (i.e. donor relations)
- Education managers, curriculum development
- Survey writing and program evaluations
Preferred Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Some Mandarin Chinese background
- Significant experience (1-2 years) in the volunteer's expertise
