Web Design Volunteer
The Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) is seeking a skilled and creative web/graphic designer to modify and develop the organization's existing Kirkland Artist Studio Tours website. The position advances KAC's event marketing efforts to better serve the community, and provides an excellent opportunity to work with professional staff in a dedicated fast-paced non-profit arts organization. This position reports to the Development Manager and works closely with other members of the Arts Center's administrative staff on various aspects of design and production. The commitment is 4-12 hours a week, with a schedule to be determined at the convenience of the volunteer.
About Kirkland Arts Center
Kirkland Arts Center is a mid-sized nonprofit based in the Eastside near Seattle. KAC presents compelling arts experiences by offering classes in a variety of media with a focus on ceramics, and critically acclaimed contemporary art exhibitions, all within an historic landmark facility, the Peter Kirk Building. Kirkland Arts Center offers classes for about 1,200 students a year in ceramics, sculpture, painting, printmaking, drawing, and digital media, and maintains a contemporary art gallery and satellite exhibitions drawing several thousand visits a year.
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Apply with cover letter and current resume sent to Jenny Lee, Development Assistant, at email@example.com. Opportunity will remain open until filled. Find out more about KAC at www.kirklandartscenter.org.
