Volunteers needed for Long Island University Health Fair Event

The TalkOnDiabetes Foundation will be attending the Long island University Health Fair on Wednesday, November 28th. We are looking for volunteers to help us with information distribution from our booth, which will include diabetes education and awareness, as weill as information about our mission and our health-oriented programs. We will also have a collection area for food and clothing donations for those affected by Sandy most recently.

College students and high school seniors are welcome to apply. Need individuals with good social and organizational skills, able to discuss health issues with visiting patrons and attendees, and willing to assist with booth setting and arrangement.
