Are you currently a grant writer with some extra time on your hands and want to lend your services to a reputable, highly acclaimed and fast growing non-profit organization? Are you an unemployed grant writer who is looking to keep your resume current while helping out an organization in need of someone with your current talents? Or maybe you are a university student with some interest in grant writing and have a desire to do some goodwill volunteering? Whatever your reason may be Ivy Child International is looking for volunteer grant writers to assist us in furthering our organizational efforts. Ivy Child International is currently looking to accelerate their funding strategy by adding to our grant writing staff, those individuals will have the opportunity to become salaried employees.

Ivy Child International is a highly acclaimed Worcester, Massachusetts based nonprofit whose who holds a unique advantage in our non- profit sector by way of our one of a kind curriculum. Our mission is to help each child achieve their best by recognizing and enhancing their unique strengths utilizing cross cultural positive psychology. We are a leading resource for caregivers, educators, and community organizations to receive guidance and instruction on creating a healthy child-centered environment.
Reports to: President & Chief Development Officer
Salary: Presently this is an unpaid volunteer position however it will become a full time salaried position.
This is mainly a telecommuting position where you would be working from the comforts of your home. However, if you are located in the metro-Boston/Worcester area there will be instances when you would need to meet with your supervisor in person in order to go over current/future projects and tasks.

-Able to work independently as well as on a collaborative team effort
-Identify, define, and develop funding sources
-Research data and resources
-Coordinate the development, writing, packaging and submission of grant proposals
