We are a grass-roots organization promoting the advancement of ecological agriculture. We work with farmers, on the ground, throughout the world. Creating a farmer to farmer exchange where we focus on bottom up approachs to agricultural development, and not the flawed top-down mentaility. We strongly believe that the future of our food system relies in hybridizing traditional agriculture with the advancements of science. Systems must be designed to work with nature rather than against it. Upon visiting our website you will see the work we are doing. We have over 100 articles educating farmers and advocates written by farmers and scientist from 5 continents around the world! We have a beautiful site with impressive global traffic. We are funding research projects around the world and creating educational guidelines and plans for farmers. We have the experience, expertise, history, and work to show for everything we have done.
Though the problem is that this organization had been almost entirely self-funded. We are farmers and are extremely passionate about helping the world achieve a healthier and more prosperous food system to sustain us for multiple generations to come. We need help with grant writing and representing ourselves on paper for funders. We need help finding the right funders and hammering out the details to our organizational development.
We are not looking for a volunteer but a partner. Someone who we can learn from as much as they can learn from us. This is a serious position and we want someone who is motivated and diligent. We do not want to micro-manage but to work together to get this organization to where it needs to be. We have not approached any foundations or funders yet, but are ready to do so.
We are 100% confident and proud of the work we are doing, and we believe it speaks loudly. We just need to demonstrate it better in order to recieve grants. Our website and our global community has achieved more than some funded orgnizations do.
