Friends of Volunteers Initiative Nepal (FVIN) is looking for general administrative help for our organization. Ideal person is skilled at online research, networking,and fundraising for non-profits. Knowledge of grant writing a plus. Creativity and easy going attitude a must.
We have about a month's worth of work, 20-30 hours a week that needs attending to. Flexible schedule. We have a lovely attached studio ohana we can offer in exchange for your services, located on FVIN's President's property in Haiku, Maui. Transportation and meals will be up to the volunteer. Position length may be extended according to need.
Job description: You will be working closely with member's of FVIN's board, attending to assorted administrative tasks. Examples include finding organizations/groups/websites to partner with, identifying new funding sources, doing demographic research, doing keyword research, posting reviews, moderating social media, etc... We're looking for someone with a well-rounded skill set, the ability to work both independently and with others and a special interest in helping young non-profits grow.
This opportunity would be for one individual or a quiet couple only, as it is a one-bedroom cottage attached to the main house.
