Volunteer as a teacher in Ghana, Africa

Humanity World International (HWI) has teaching placements available. Volunteers are welcome to participate in this program to help impart knowledge to the many children that await your volunteer service. You can teach in the nursery or basic schools and technical/vocational schools. Subjects to choose from include English, Maths, Science, Computer, French, Business, Physical Education (PE), Music & Arts, Social Studies among others.

Your role:

• You would serve as a teacher or teaching assistant. You would be engaged in teaching, giving assignments, class tests and awarding marks. The children will greatly value the attention and help you offer. You will be able to design a program with your class by setting achievement targets with the existing syllabus. You will have the opportunity to teach classes or assist in teaching classes in the school that you are placed.
