Description of volunteer position
We need a professional to provide treatment for children and young people with a physical disability, they must be specialised in treating motor deficiencies as the institution is currently lacking this type of professinal
-Description of the mission :
The physiotherapist will help children and young people up until 25 years of age with physical disabilities by way of therapeutic strategies to overcome motor deficiencies. They attend the foundation from Monday to Friday . Their mission will be to coordinate and share experiences and knowledge with an interdisciplinary team to contribute to the development of the pupils; enable the parents to reinforce this at home and collaborate on all activities carried out by the foundation.
-Long-term goals of the foundation with respect to volunteers:
Achieve good interrelations with personnel and overcome difficulties of the beneficiaries.
Maintain constant communication with parents regarding the development and treatment of their children.
Develop a personal physical treatment regime with each child, tailored to their physical disability.
Carry out therapeutic monitoring of each child.
Develop a tool or methodology for analysis and evaluation of the disabilities to support the work of the volunteer

Continuing with the developed method and providing support for the treatment of different types of disabilities present at the foundation.

Candidate profile
-Former experiences :
Professional qualified in physiotherapy
-Diplomas :
Higher studies or training in physiotherapy
-Level of Spanish:
Intermediate
-Required competences and qualities:
Passion for working with people with disabilities.

Food, accommodation, transport and flight.
-Possibilities of accommodation (lodging, food, etc…):
Where possible, a lunch with other members of staff. The managerial team promise to help the volunteer look for accommodation.
