Walking Tours - JASA Van Cortlandt Senior Center

JASA seeks volunteers to lead a weekly walking group of senior citizens at one of our senior centers in the Bronx. Volunteers should be comfortable leading a group of varying skill levels on walking tours throughout the neighborhood and parks. This opportunity is a great way to help senors stay active and to get some great exercise of your own.

The Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA), founded in 1968 by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, provides a full range of services for the elderly and their families -- from the most able and independent to the most frail and vulnerable, to enable the elderly to live independent lives in their own homes and communities. Services are provided throughout New York City and in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
