Science Club for Girls seeks a dynamic, resourceful and collaborative individual to join our Everybody LOVES Science Planning Team. SCFG builds self-confidence, sisterhood and literacy in science and engineering in 1,000 girls in K-12 grades by providing free, hands-on and leadership programs in eastern Massachusetts. This is made possible through the support of over 150 mentor-scientists and 50+ one-time volunteers. Our staff is passionate, committed, entrepreneurial and fun. Everybody LOVES Science is an outreach event held each April that showcases the projects the girls involved in our science clubs showcases their science projects to their community. We are looking for volunteers to be part of the Everybody LOVES Science Planning Team. Volunteers will meet bi-monthly to create the marketing collateral, manage event logistics, recruit sponsors, fundraise, and help raise awareness of the event. We are looking for individuals that are eager to be part of a team and build their event planning skills.
