Real Estate/Property Attorney Volunteer - (Interns welcome)

We are looking for a volunteer or current student with a basic knowledge of real estate property law to:

• Represent Hazael Haven in acquiring property for its organizational headquarters
• Research potential sites and contact the appropriate party to arrange property visits
• Do property visits/inspections
• Check that there are no covenants, easements, or liens registered against the property
• Review the purchase contract
• Help prepare and register all legal documents
• Clarify the terms of the mortgage and work with the bank, if necessary, to modify them
