Volunteer in Australia, one of the worlds most biodiverse islands! GoEco works with a variety of conservation projects in Australia, and you can too! Projects last 2-8 weeks, and you can sign up for multiple projects, so the more time you have, the more you can do and see.
Here are a few examples of available volunteer projects:
- 2 Weeks in Victoria, working to restore the land, and rebuild the boardwalk along the Great Ocean Road
- 4 Weeks in the Northern Territory, working with National parks either along the coast or in the rainforest

Volunteer work and contribution:
The projects offer volunteers the opportunity to contribute in a practical way to conservation of the Australian environment. The projects involve:
- Tree planting
- Erosion and salinity control
- Seed collection
- Construction and maintenance of walking tracks
- Endangered flora and fauna surveys
- Weed control
- Habitat restoration

What's included in the project:
- Accommodation: Caravans, hostels, shearer's quarters, bunkhouses, camping
- Food: Supplied but you will need to help with cooking
- Transport: Project-related transportation only
- Orientation kit: Full project details will be sent following registration
- Training: Pre-departure preparation and In-country orientation
Support: Local in-country team and 24hr emergency support
