WFUNA recruits volunteers who are interested in committing their time to helping us achieve our goals. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities on a continuous basis, and occasionally seek volunteers for specific projects.
Volunteering with WFUNA gives you the opportunity to meet and network with others who share your interest in, and passion for the United Nations and global issues.
We are grateful to our volunteers who gift us with their valuable time and are happy to provide them with letters of reference when appropriate.
Assist with the kiosk at UN Headquarters
WFUNA is privileged to be given kiosk space in the Visitors Center of the United Nations Headquarters building in New York. The kiosk serves two main functions. The first is to disseminate information about WFUNA and our member UNAs to the multitude of visitors from all around world; the second is to sell our merchandise. The Kiosk is open 7 days a week and relies solely on the generously donated time of volunteers. To volunteer, please email Joe Haddad at haddad@wfuna.org.
Donate your professional services
WFUNA is often in need of the services of professionals in the areas of translation/ interpretation, graphic design and photography. Many of these volunteer projects can be pursued with flexible deadlines and from a distance (online).
