Tobar Mhuire is a sacred space in the heart of County Down, dedicated to providing a welcoming space for diverse visitors, seeking renewal, hope, learning & healing.
Long Term International Volunteers are an integral part of our retreat team, assisting with day-to-day operations of the retreat house, serving the local community, developing a vibrant youth & young adult ministry, and living together in ecumenical community.
Applicants should possess a high level of maturity and motivation, and a graduate level degree in Theology, Ministry, Divinity, Hospitality or other relevent subjects. Music talent a plus.
Volunteers are compensated with room & board, health & driving insurance, and a weekly stipend. One or two year commitment required. Please inquire by March 31, 2013. Early applicants may have the opportunity for an in-person meeting with programme leadership in Boston.
