Earth Day Cleanups with Save The Bay
What: Join Save The Bay for our 2013 Earth Day Cleanups
When: Saturday, April 20 from 10 am - 12 pm | Raindate: Sunday, April 21 from 11 am - 1 pmWhere: 4 locations available: Providence Save The Bay Center (ages 8 and up) | Bristol Harbor (ages 12 and up) | Newport's Easton's Beach (ages 6 and up) | Westerly's Misquamicut Beach (ages 8 and up)
Requirements: Volunteers must meet the age requirements designated for each site. All volunteers under the age of 16 must participate with an adult. Volunteers must have their own transportation to and from the cleanup site. All volunteers must be able to do some light to moderate bending and lifting. Volunteers must wear sturdy closed toed shoes.
What to Wear/Bring: All volunteers should dress for the weather and wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty. Closed toed shoes are required at all Save The Bay cleanups. Volunteers must bring their own sun/bug protection. All volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reuseable water bottle to the cleanup event.
