TASAAGA is a Ugandan non-profit organization that runs a number of community development projects plus a an HIV/AIDS and Malaria prevention project. TASAAGA is having Volunteer opportunities for people who are looking for experiences in community health education in one of the rural communities of Uganda. The project is located 40 minutes drive from Kampala the capital of Uganda. The volunteer will be involved in conducting community health education activities together with our local staff. Our major focus is on HIV/AIDS and Malaria.
The volunteer position is open to a self-motivated and hardworking person. The volunteer will be required to contribute a volunteer fee of 100 US$ per week. The fee caters for project continuation and administration. TASAAGA will cater for your accommodation and meals during your internship time plus 24 hour support from our local staff. The volunteer shall be working hand in hand with our local staff.
TASAAGA projects take people from one month to six months. The village where the project is located is 40 minutes drive from Kampala the Capital of Uganda, it has electricity, accessibility to internet services and banking services such as ATM machines. As a volunteer you cater for your flight expenses but the organisation is going to be there when you arrive at Entebbe Airport to pick you up to the office of the organization at no cost.
