We are looking for a volunteer to help us design virtual drives to raise funds and awaremess for the fight against poverty.
The first project will be virtual hunger drives. Our main food pantry hosts nearly 55,000 contacts per year with low-income families. Distributing almost 600,000 pounds of food per year, our pantry can provide over 7 pounds of food for every $1 that is donated because of our relationship with the North Texas Food Bank. For example, you can buy one can of tomato soup at the grocery store for $1. We can buy 7 cans for $1. For this reason, we encourage those wishing to partner with us in our effort to fight hunger to host 'virtual' food drives rather than collecting actual cans of food.
You can help us set up the presentation thumb drives:
- Design a logo of the Virtual Food Drive program
- Design a can of food that could be printed and sold to participants
- Design the letterhead or power point presentation
We will distribute to participants, helping us create 7 times the impact of donations towards our fight against hunger!
