Kenya is the largest Tea producer in the world. Kericho is the Hub and the main area of production. The main issue here is the little pay that the farmers get yet they do alot to produce the tea leaves. There are so many middle men that frustrates and lead to low payments to the farmers in the long run. It is therefore our interest as a NGO to advocate for them and look for ways to improve there livelyhood through seeking a better pay. And thus our volunteer will:
-Advise on the ways that the farmers can benefit through seeking marketing avenues.
- Advise on how the supply chain may add value and hence better pay.
