CAPA (China American Psychoanalytic Alliance) is looking for a part time ASP.NET programmer. We are a small, low budget, non-profit who facilitates the instruction of psychodynamic psychotherapy over Skype between U.S. instructors and Chinese students. We have no office, so all work would be done by remote. We already have a working ASP.NET database, but it needs to be built up and augmented. The job description follows:
Augment/update ASP.NET web interface for admin staff to easily manage students, instructors, classes information including but not limited to the following aspects:
1. Integrating data from 3rd party website (through their APIs) to enroll students into the database
2. Being able to view and edit students' biographic and demographic information and also their class enrollment history (Some filtering capability may be required)
3. Implementing an annual grade report page for the staff to easily enter the grades for each student.
An ideal candidate should have:
a. 12 year of ASP.NET (C#) and SQL Server programming experience.
b. Proficiency with relational database design
c. Familiarity with stored procedures, views and functions.
This position could potentially lead to a paid position given the volunteer is a good fit for our company
