Assignment: Marketing Assistant
Purpose: The Marketing Assistant is a position designed to help Real Change identify strategic uses of its advertising resources. The marketing assistant will advise Real Change on strategies that will promote Real Change to new Vendors, and also to assess the opportunities for marketing expenditures that precede Real Change's expansion into new geographic regions.
Reports To: Alan Preston, Managing Director
Responsibilities:
- Research strategies to recruit new vendors
- Assist in the development and distribution of flyers that promote Real Change
- Develop marketing plan for expansion of Real Change into Kitsap County
- Do some initial exploration of marketing opportunities in East King County (Kirkland, Bellevue)
- Identify high impact, low resource grassroots and social media marketing initiatives
Time Commitment:
- 3-4 Hours/Week
- 8-10 Weeks Period
Skills Required:
- Some experience in marketing
- Detail oriented, committed to quality
- Ability to work in an unstructured, fast paced and often hectic work environment
- Commitment to Real Change's mission
