Recovery Resource Center, a division of RESOURCE, specializes in assisting individuals who have a history of relapse. Because most RRC clients lack many basic nessities of life such as a place to live, a positive support network, and a job, RRC also assists them in meeting those needs. in 2011, Chemical-health treatment, recovery maintenance, and supportive services were provided to 1,096 individuals.
Our chemical health division offers job search services to individuals after they have successful completed our treatment services to them reenter the workforce. Job Club Assistants help develop and edit resumes & cover letters as well as help clients who may not have very much experience with computers with everything from key boarding and using a mouse to emailing and completing online applications. 3-9 hour/week.
Available in Minneapolis on Tues, Thur in the morning. Possibly afternoon hours available.
Volunteer must have knowledge of resumes, cover letters, and othet job search tools as well as a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Intertnet Explorer, and Windows. Great way for professionals to share knowleghe!
