Date: February 23, 2013 from 7:30am to Noon
Location: The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, 2500 S. Division in Grand Rapids
Description: Volunteers are needed to help with the Dash Down Division 5k Run/Walk Event and Mini Dash Children's Fun Run. Approximately 40 volunteers are needed for the following roles:
- Directing cars to the appropriate parking spots on site
- Greeting guests entering the Kroc Center
- Maintaining traffic control and guiding runners at key intersections on the race course
- Accepting registration and distributing race information
- Serving food to race participants
- Assisting with set up and tear down
Notes: Volunteers who work outside should be dressed appropriately for February weather. Food and beverages supplied to the runners will also be available to volunteers.
