Bright Connections is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to improve cultural understandin between Eastern Europe and the US and to brighten the lives of Russia orphans. This is a virtual volunteer position and will require about 15 hours a week. The schedule is completely flexible.
Need a E-pal program coordinator for the US. We are looking to get the E-Pal program up and running and need a volunteer to find schools that would like to particpate and coordinate between these schools and our Russian coordinator (who will work with the orphanages).
Duties will include:
- Contacting schools (any level) with Russian Language programs to ask if they are interested in having Russian language students translate letters (some schools have already showed interest)
- Contact high school level (maybe college if there is interest) to determine who would like to write letters to the kids in the orphanages. (Some schools have already showed interest)
- Coordinate with Russian speaking volunteer (who will work with the orphanages on getting the letters to and from the kids)
Volunteer will work with Director to establish and achieve goals. Come join the Bright Connections community!
