one week to three months
an orphanage set up within a rural environment is looking for volunteers this year 2013.
we thank those who were able to volunteer withus the last year and also call upon those who had applied and were not able that this is onother year for them
we are located in a cool environment on the slopes of mount kenya a snow capped mountain
its a 3hrs drive from the capital Nairobi
you help in undertaking varoius activities at the home
1. household work- cooking, washing utensils, washing clothes and making the rooms neat
2. farm & garden work - feding rabbits, fish, goats, ciltavating cabbages
3. cookouts, adventures, nature walks
4. teaching- basic computer skills, supervising homeworks, simple arithmetics
5. any other skill or talent you have- music, art,
all this at a cost of $110 per week that caters for your meals, accomodation and office administration
other expenses include
$65 tranport from airport to town center
$25hotel accommodation if you ariive after 4pm ( bed and breakfast )
$65 trasport from town center to the orphanage
$90 transport on deperture
