Sarah Samudre has been involved in marketing and social media management for over 5 years. In her current position at Richard Hugo House, a center for writers in Seattle's Capitol Hill, she is responsible for creating, managing and scheduling online content for the Richard Hugo House website and social channels; creating a tone and personality for the organization's digital outlets; cultivating, growing and engaging the organization's social communities; running the organization's social media weekly fiction challenge on Twitter: #FridayFiction; running social media campaigns for the annual donation drives; and acting as customer service for questions, comments, complaints and praise received through social channels.
On top of her work at Richard Hugo House, Sarah is a writer as well the co-owner of Samudre Media, a media production company that specializes in video marketing solutions and social media consultancy for non-profit organizations, marketing for writers and documentary work. There she manages marketing and social media, as well as providing writing services, social media consultancy and producing for its clients.
Sarah currently serves as copywriter for GeekGirlCon. She earned B.A. in English Literature from University of Washington and a B.A. in Comparative Literature: Cinema Studies from University of Washington.
