I have spent extensive time living and working abroad through the Peace Corps, independent volunteer projects, and study abroad programs. I am a current Master's of Public Administration student and received my B.A. in International Development and Public Health from the Ohio State University. I have substantial experience working in the fields of higher education, education reform, communications, operations, and community development.
I speak English and French and also have limited knowledge of Swahili, Arabic, and Somali. I have a lot of hobbies, including writing, photography, reading, and running. I am a music fanatic, gravitating to the unusual and obscure. Some of my favorite artists are currently Tycho, Fatoumata Diare, and Afel Bocoum.
