I am currently enrolled in a Master's Degree program at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) where I am focusing my studies on Economic and Political Development in the Middle East with a specialization in Gender Policy.
I have experience working in research, development and communications for a variety of non-profits and NGOs in both New York City and in the Middle East. Most recently, I have worked as a Development Associate for Public Agenda—a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that helps diverse leaders and citizens navigate complex, divisive issues and work together to find solutions. In this position, I was responsible for building and maintaining collaborative relationships with our funding and project partners, outreach to new and existing donors and conducting background research and literature reviews on a variety of topics such as immigration, healthcare, and higher education for program planning and grant proposal development.
coexistence, mutual understanding and respect, and ultimately, peace is possible.
