Katie Welch is an aspiring social entreprenuer and analyst with an unrelenting energy for shaping economic security, workforce development and women's rights. Her diverse public service and leadership experiences span across 10+ organizations and higher education institutions driving social change in domestic violence advocacy, accessible education and media literacy. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and Women's and Gender Studies from University of Oregon where her research focused on gendered effects of globalization and labor strategies, and is currently seeking opportunities to expand into business development, quantitive research and public administration.
