Is Big Data's buzz giving your nonprofit a big headache? Perhaps your own existing data is already overwhelming you, even if it's only a few gigabytes.
Wikipedia defines Big Data as "data sets with sizes beyond the ability of commonly used software tools to capture, curate, manage, and process the data within a tolerable elapsed time. [Sizes] range from a few dozen terabytes to many petabytes of data in a single data set."
