(LNIM) is an independent, indigenous, non-political, non - governmental organization with a primary mission to provide and alleviate poverty in women who are mostly disadvantaged and to give education to poor disadvantaged and neglected orphans whose parents have died of HIV/AIDS. We aim to help their families to overcome poverty and hopelessness in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi Tanzania and other African Countries through helping them with funds in form of small loans to initiate sustainable income generating projects.
The Link Net International Ministries (LNIM) is currently operating its activities mainly in Kenya larger Gusii and Nyamira County, Migori, Kehancha, Mbita, Homabay, Uriri, Rongo, Rodi Kupany, Suneka, Nyakoe, Nyamatutu, Oriang'i, Asumbi, Uyugis, Daraja, Kisii central, Kisii south, Ogembo, Mogonga, Kenyenya, Nyamache, Emenwa, Kiamokama, Nyacheki, Gesusu, Keroka, Amabuko, Keumbu, Birongo, Ibacho, Masimba, Marani, Mosocho, Manga, Kisumu, Luanda, Bondo, Siaya, Busia, Malava, Changara, Bungoma, Kakamega, Shinyalu, Eldoret, Kapsabet, Iten, Kabaranet, Kitale, Nakuru, Bomet, Narok, Naivasha, Nairobi and Mfangano island in Kenya, also some small parts of Northern Tanzania in Tarime and Musoma, in Uganda available at Wakiso, Mukono, Kabarole, Kampala and Kayunga districts as to maximize its efforts in Uganda though we hope to expand our efforts in other districts depending on the availability of funding and resources.
Our National Office is situated in Upper Hill Nairobi Kenya. Statistics show that Kenya has more than 10 million orphans Uganda has over 6 million orphans registered, and it is estimated that 1 in every 7 orphans in Africa is Kenya or Ugandan. In Kenya and Uganda 25% of all households look after at least one child orphaned by either HIV/AIDS or internally displaced person or war, It is vital for these children's future, and the future of Kenyan, Ugandan and Tanzanian children are provided with a secure and supportive environment or else many may become part of Africa's "lost generation".
However, it will be very difficult for Kenyans, Ugandans and Tanzanians to economically grow and prosper in the future as many of these children are growing up in an unstable, uncertain and impoverished environment. How can the future leaders of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania successfully lead our country without adequate education, basic necessities, support, love and care?
LNIM - seeks to provide a better life now and a constructive future for these children and youths. As Nelson Mandela onces stated "Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity, it is an act of Justice".
LNIM warmly invites international Donors, Charities, Well-wishers, Volunteers to offer their support and services to help create a bright future for these children and their families by giving them the most important thing in life - opportunities. LNIM accepts any volunteers over the age of 15 years old, from any country, individual, couple or group volunteer placements.
