The mission of Crescent City Schools is to support and develop open enrollment schools that raise student achievement and prepare students for college.

Crescent City Schools is an organization dedicated to operating and managing high-performing college prep charter schools that are accessible to all students regardless of past academic record or special need. As a part of the ongoing effort to rebuild New Orleans public schools, Crescent City Schools took over a failing K-8 charter school in the fall of 2011, and acquired a fresh start K-5 charter school in July 2012. Our organization creates life-changing educational experiences for students and, through this work, transforms a city.
