We are a not for profit organization fighting child and maternal mortality in Nigeria where deaths rates are the highest in Africa and second highest in the world. We also work to improve the sexual reproductive health of women in Nigeria.Our aim includes to fight head on the root causes of child and maternal mortality in Nigeria, recognizing that pregnant women have become endangered species. According to the 2011 Maternal Health Task Force Info graphics, Nigeria losses an alarming 36,666 women yearly to maternal related deaths. We train skilled and traditional birth attendants, establish a 'refer and reward' system for them to encourage timely referrals, sensitize the populace and equip or upgrade delivery facilities at health centers.
