Descripción

Huckleberry Youth Programs is a community-based agency founded on the belief that adolescence is a turbulent time during which many young people are at risk for life-threatening crises. These crises include drug and alcohol addiction, physical and sexual abuse, emotional illness, physical illness (including HIV infection), family breakdown, homelessness, delinquency and suicide. Our mission is to provide adolescents in San Francisco and Marin counties the highest quality of services along a continuum of care ranging from prevention to crisis intervention to stabilization and growth. Core beliefs underlying our services include respect for the racial, ethnic and cultural diversity of our clients, recognition of the value and dignity of young people and acknowledgement of their potential to become healthy, responsible adults.
