An inclusive organization, EACS is dedicated to improving the well-being and quality of life of refugees and their families in King County. We provide our clients with the tools to successfully adjust to life in the United States while simultaneously preserving their diverse cultural heritages.
Established in 2000, we provide culturally specific advocacy, information, referral and direct social services to Somali, Oromo, Ethiopian and other East African refugees living in King County.
EACS programs include refugee resettlement support; computer literacy, life skills, English as a second language, and job skills training classes; family and youth outreach programs; health care access and child protection education; parent involvement in children's education support; crime prevention programs; seniors programs; and assessment and case management services.
