Christina Seix Academy opened in the Fall of 2012 as an independent, year-round, PreK to 8 elementary and middle school, primarily serving children facing acute economic challenges. Students will be supported by enlightened teachers and dedicated staff members.
The school's 64 acre urban campus is currently under construction to be completed by June of 2012.
Resources for the project come from the generous donation of Christina Seix. After being CEO of a successful investment management firm, she founded her own firm, Seix Investment Advisors, LLP, which she built and recently sold to a large US bank. She earmarked all of the proceeds of that sale to fund this project.
Rob Connor currently serves as the Head of School.
