Nonprofit (Oakland): East Bay College Fund

East Bay College Fund helps resilient public high school seniors, under-represented in higher education, go to college and expand their life opportunities. East Bay College Fund aspires to involve the whole community in providing college scholarships, mentoring, and support networks to assist these young people in realizing their full potential. We accomplish this mission by offering 5 core components –gap funding, college counseling support, a dedicated volunteer mentor, life-skills training, and a step-up transition program to acclimate students to college. East Bay College Fund was founded in 2002 and is a community-based non-profit organization that serves students who graduated from Oakland and Emeryville public high schools.
