Descripción

Awamaki promotes community development in Ollantaytambo, Cusco, Peru. We create economic opportunities for women; run programs in health and education; work to preserve and foster Quechua culture; and promote a more sustainable tourism that benefits local families. We like to incorporate social enterprise strategies into our programs and activities. We are a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) organization called Awamaki U.S., and a registered non-profit Peruvian civil association called Awamaki.
