At PEPY (Promoting Education, emPowering Youth) we believe that positive changes are only possible if we invest time in people. The changes we want to see in the world won't come from giving things away, or focusing on inputs rather than high quality impact. We are just as impatient as others to make these changes, but we have learned through our mistakes and our successes, that only through investing time in a team of passionate, local leaders will be able to reach our vision.

PEPY's vision is a future where all young Cambodians are empowered to achieve their dreams.

PEPY is a non-governmental organizaion registered in both the US and Cambodia, and based in the Siem Reap province of northwestern Cambodia. The PEPY team works with young people who are passionate about pursuing their own education and development. Young people living in rural Cambodia are twice as likely to drop out of school that those growing up in rural areas due to the poor quality of government education and family poverty. However, there are some young leaders who, despite their limited means and opportunities, are determined to achieve their ambitions for the future. PEPY exists to connect these changemakers with the skills, systems, and inspiration necessary to achieve their goals, raise standards of living, and improve the quality of education in their communities.

Our sister company, PEPY Tours is a social venture offering responsible adventurous and educational trips while providing long term support to development programs. The income and fundraising generated through PEPY Tours funds our non-profit organization, as well as a number of development programs by local grassroots organizations.
