The mission of the International Institute of Buffalo is to assist immigrants, refugees, their families, and others who face linguistic and cultural barriers to become self-sufficient, productive members of our community, and to increase global understanding and international connections in Western New York. Conveniently located in a historic mansion on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo, our programs include refugee resettlement, translation and interpreting, immigration legal services, immigrant victim services, English and foreign language classes, citizenship classes, international visitor hosting, global education programs, and cultural competency training.
