Legal Momentum (Formerly NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund) is the oldest national legal advocacy organization dedicated to women's rights. It is at the center of every major social and economic justice concern on the women's rights agenda, a leader in defining the issues and bringing them to public attention. Legal Momentum strives to achieve equality and improve the lives of women and girls by transforming the institutions and values of our society through legal advocacy, public policy development, communications, education and strategic alliances.
