Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC) of Boston is a program of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) that seeks to engage young professionals in discussions of international affairs, emphasizing the importance of multilateral cooperation and the United Nations. While we appreciate supporters of all ages, YPIC members are typically between the ages of 21-40 from the Greater Boston area, and are a diverse group of individuals from the fields not limited to, but usually from business, law, medicine, government, media, academia, nonprofit, the arts and philanthropy. YPIC provides an exciting opportunity to interact with like-minded individuals and gives young professionals from all walks of life a unique forum in which to learn more about current international issues, the United Nations, and the work of UNA-USA. We foster the learning process with monthly social gatherings, discussion meetings, film viewings and lectures.
Since YPIC Boston strives to be as inclusive and diverse as possible, we do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, political affiliation or level of education. All we ask from members is to have an interest in learning about international relations and different cultures, a willingness to make new friends and, most importantly, have a great sense of humor!
