organization uniting people and
helping to break down the barriers of
different race,creed,culture and
religions through the art form of Jazz
seeks interns and volunteers of any
nationalities and ethnic
backgrounds. Our recent concert at
the United Nations featured jazz
musicians representing
Isreal,Middle East,Europe,Asia and
America performing together for an
international audience. We now have
concerts every Sat. in NYC and are
looking to expand! Spiritual and soul-
satisfaction potential in the short
term as well as possible future
commission paid opportunities in
the promotions and booking

Here's a little bit about us:
On Sept. 25,2002 Jazz Pianist and
Vocalist Rick DellaRatta was invited
to
lead a band consisting of
Israeli,Middle
Eastern,European,Asian and
American Jazz Musicians in a
concert inside the UN for an
international
audience. Rick named this band
"Jazz for Peace" and has continued
these
concerts at a venue on the upper
west side in NYC called Jazz on the
Park every
Sat. as well as numerous other
performances at events in and
outside of Manhattan including the
West Coast and Europe.
Jazz for Peace's mission is to
help advance people to their highest
potential through the understanding
of Jazz as well as spreading peace
through our "Jazz for Peace
Concerts" worldwide - joining forces
(or performing) with multi-cultural
musicians to spread peace through
the artform of Jazz and entering
regions that are politically
controversial. By the means of live
concerts, video taping, on hands/ on-
line teaching as well as supplying
musical instruments to under-
privileged children in under
developed areas worldwide,Jazz for
Peace will re-enforce what past
history has proven - that the art form
of Jazz has the ability to create a
positive effect that unites people and
may eventually start to transform the
barriers and issues of different
cultures and beliefs.
